An article in the Guardian.com today reports on a TUC study revealing the UK came bottom out of the 34 members of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development, for spending and investment in technology and transport.

It goes on to suggest that it is this lack of investment that has hampered an increase in the UK’s productivity rate.

It will be interesting to see if the chancellor address this in next weeks autumn statement.
